Designs are everywhere. From the very first thing you see in the morning, all over your house, on the roads, to the last thing you see at night. What makes all of those possible is that almost every designers is to copy other designers' work. They put their creativity to enhance, reproduce, replicate or to improvise the already available design to make it inspired.

An idea may have come first, but creativity is what makes all happens. The secret behind creativity is knowing how to hide your sources. And that is what most people do, including designers.

Inspiration can come from many ways, most of it are unexpected. For you to be design-inspired, you need a long way toward creating an experience dedicated to art. And for that you should make the situation done in care in order to put your creativity to work.

To break it down, below is a list of the things that can put yourself into inspiration.

Paying Attention

To express creativity in a professional way, you need to pay attention to the process. You can't produce a great design just because you think you have a brilliant idea. There is no way you can put that idea into reality without meaningful planning and preparations.

If you want to create something with a high impact and long lasting, you need to guide yourself into the process and put your attention to the every bit.

Getting Familiar

Designs have many aspects. In order to create a creative project, you need to familiarize yourself with all of its components so you can turn your idea into reality.

Since idea is what drives your mind, the next thing you need is creating the concepts. Careful planning out of the key elements of design by an approach that you think is best. The more the impact you as the outcome of your design, you must get familiar with the concept of putting that faint moments into steps.

Once you get the idea of the layout, multiple draft can keep you up from getting your mind wandering too far from your initial concept.

Mind Mapping

There might be two similar you in this world. But there is nothing created identical. When playing with the mind, you need to know what your dealing with.

Since there is a lot of approach to a single problem, you must find the best method that suits you best. The key to a great idea and creativity is by knowing and perfecting your own personal style.

Not everyone is capable to map the mind and know their own weaknesses. By admitting what you can't, you can understand what you are capable of.

Ask Yourself

As mentioned earlier, a design can come from another design. Why is that possible? Designers kept asking themselves "why" questions in order to see what's unseen. Asking "what" will give you a direct answer, closing the doors to imagination. Asking "why" enables you to think in a broader image, empowering you to see problems that previous designers have yet to solve.

For example, asking "why" when you're creating a logo is because someone needs one. Why do they need one? Because they're just releasing business. Why that business? And suddenly you'll find yourself with more information to spin around and answer.

Balance

Creativity is the ability to think out of the box. The process includes balancing your idea and your ability to act quickly. Ideas may come as flashes, your creativity is what put that faint moments into bits that can be arranged together.

When an idea comes fresh in your mind, you may want to create a draft as quickly as possible before the ideas comes to rest. Make sure that you take your next day to see the design concept with a fresh new eyes in order to see in others' perspective.

Balance also means attention to details. The concept you had yesterday may have looked brilliant yesterday. But today, it looks awful.

Go With the Flow

There are times when you feel you're running out of passion and you see your creativity sapped out of you, making you completely demotivated. As mentioned earlier, ideas can come when you expect them less. So there is no need to force yourself to be inspired.

Inspiration for ideas is like a switch that may go on and off whenever the mind wants. It's an out-of-body experience and it's natural. Urging inspiration won't get your mind anywhere.

However, creative minds can withstand his natural influence. What they do is focus on the details they like the most. When they suddenly have the blink of inspiration, they try to put this as a process of the human body so creativity comes out naturally.
