To many young people around the world, Tate's story is both through-provoking, rhetoric and polarizing.

But regardless, Tate managed to transform himself into a world-class social media influencer to the most extreme sense.

In mid-2022, he was the most searched person on Google, and there are more reasons for that.

Emory Andrew Tate III was born in December 1986, and later in life, his passion was kickboxing. He began practicing in 2005, and won his first championship in 2009. But it was in 2016, that he gained his first internet fame.

At that time, he appeared on UK's reality show Big Brother, before being removed from the show when a video of him repeatedly hitting a woman with a belt went viral. Despite the two said that the act was consensual, Tate got his first taste of internet fandom.

It was only after that time, that Tate began his spree as a social media influencer, who rose to fame by promoting an "ultra-masculine, ultra-luxurious lifestyle".

While the self-proclaimed misogynist has been suspended from various social media platforms because of the character he tries to promote, Tate continues doing what he considers being himself.

Tate is a hero to many of his young followers, with many teenagers refer to him as the "legend" and the "Top G."

Consequently, Tate has become an icon.

As Tate himself once puts it, "I have a big house, I have supercars, I can live wherever I want, I have limitless women... I’m an amazing role model!"

However. despite the frenzy he caused, and how many schools and teachers raised concerns about Tate's influence on students, Tate does give tips on how to become a successful entrepreneur by promoting hard work, and self-reliance.

Tate urges his fans to break free from the "matrix" and take control of their own lives.

It has been for more than a few times, that Tate also talks about the values of intellect, and this is what resonates with people.

Tate has that personal charisma rarely found on most internet personality.

Besides being a hedonistic bad boy, Tate built his charisma by being authentic and practicing what he preaches.

Fans see Tate as an opposing force against the left-wing, progressive discourse common on apps like TikTok. He is the anti-establishment, and is the rare voice offering solutions to young people in the midst of modernity's woes.

The thing is, despite saying that he teaches the truth about the world, Tate emphasizes on wealth, luxury, and fancy cars, boasting a hedonistic life that is both materialistic and individualistic.

Then, there in December 2022, Tate and his brother Tristan were arrested in Romania along with two women.

All of them were suspected of human trafficking, and allegedly ran an organized crime group.

Romanian police alleged that the group coerced victims into creating paid online pornography, and received money by doing so. Then in June, they were charged with rape, human trafficking, and sexually exploiting women for money.

According to the prosecutors, "The victims have been subjected to physical violence and mental coercion through intimidation, constant surveillance, control, and debt bondage."

Tate and his brother deny all charges.

During the raid, the authorities seized a number of expensive cars from Tate's compound.

They include a Rolls-Royce Wraith, a Ferrari 488 GTB, a Porsche 911 Turbo S, a BMW M5, an Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, and a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG. The cars are estimated to be worth a total of around $3.9 million.

In addition to the cars, Romanian authorities have also seized other assets from Tate, including 14 designer watches and several properties. The assets have been seized under Romanian law, which allows authorities to seize the assets of suspects who are being investigated for serious crimes in order to prevent them from being sold or hidden.

Tate was raised in the Christian faith. Later he said he became an atheist, to only identified himself as Christian again in 2022.

But later, a video of him praying at a mosque in Dubai went viral in October 2022.

Following this, he announced that he had converted to Islam.

The reactions of his followers are indeed thought-provoking.

Tate, with his unique charismatic personality that managed to attract many followers, and with a bad boy image with a past involvement in the adult industry, showed how a person can thrive by focusing on a hedonistic lifestyle to overshadow more serious discussions about political and economic issues.

Tate sets an example of how a digital media presence is relevant in the modern-days society, when public disclosure is key to online competition.

Before becoming a Muslim, Tate was once heard calling Islam the "last religion" and argued that "no other religion has the boundaries they enforce."

Tate noted that people "won't insult Islam. No one will disrespect it because they're afraid."

Since viral video of Tate speaking positively about Islam boosted his profile and popularity among Muslims worldwide, a leading Islamic scholar even approached him to be on his podcast.

"After embracing Islam, Tate will slowly change," said one of Tate's fans.

"He just repented, so he's trying to be better, in my opinion," said another.

But again, Tate is a social media personality, meaning that he lives from content, and earn money from every single sensation he makes.

So when he declared himself a Muslim, many people were taking his words as a grain of salt.

This is because Tate's public rhetoric has not changed much.

Without speaking about his previous work in pornography that resulted to his arrest, Tate still makes sexual comments about women on Twitter and boasted many things about his wealth and prestige.
