Microsoft's Project Spartan

22/01/2015

Microsoft officials announced Project Spartan. With it, Microsoft is replacing well-known default Windows web browser, the Internet Explorer.

The web browser is designed specifically for the operating system with simple and cleaner design, an all-new rendering engine, and several new main new features. Furthermore, the web browser supports Microsoft's other products such as OneDrive cloud storage, Cortana personal digital assistant, and others.

Spartan is designed to be a single browser across PCs, tablets, and phones.

Project Spartan is the codename for Microsoft Edge.
