Since its launch, the site is going nowhere but up. It's not surprising as more events, incidents, people and many other occurrences and knowledge happen and advances, Wikipedia is seeking to have all of those.

Wales' humanitarian vision has always been the driving force behind Wikipedia. The goal, he says, is to create a world in which "every single person on the planet is given free access to the sum of all human knowledge."

Wikipedia is free to use, and it's supported by donations.
