Instagram Stories Have Multiple Uploads Capability And Automatic Location Stickers

Instagram has announced a few updates to its Stories feature, including the ability to upload multiple photos and videos at the same time.

Previously, users that wanted to upload several photos of videos to their Instagram Story, would have to upload every piece of media one at a time. With an update, users can go to upload media to see an icon on the top-right corner of the screen.

Tapping on this icon will open the users' phone gallery. Here, they are able to choose and select up to 10 photos and videos to post at one go.

Once the media contents are selected, users will then see a previous of how they will all look together. There is also an option to add stickers, text or other decorations. Users can customize the photos and videos individually. And when they're ready to post, all those items will be added to their Story at the same time, in the order they have selected them.

This little feature should come in handy. Especially for those avid Instagram users who love to post photos and Stories multiple times everyday. It's also a time saver in many situations and certainly a convenient.

According to the Facebook-owned app, this ability should also be useful for those with connectivity issues.

Beside giving users the ability to upload multiple media at one go, Instagram also tweaked the way users can post their Story with location stickers.

So if users are uploading a picture of a food they are eating, for example, the location feature will automatically suggest a restaurant near the place the photo was taken, rather than where the users are currently located.

For those users who love to use Instagram to document their life and share it to the world, the updates certainly make things a lot easier for them to curate.

Initially, the feature updates are available for Android users, with iOS trailing close behind.
