Android Honeycomb

Android 3.0 Honeycomb is a mobile operating system designed specifically for tablet PCs. First appearing on the Motorola Xoom in February 2011, Android 3.0 Honeycomb is also available on other tablets.

Based on Linux kernel 2.6.36 and API level 11, Honeycomb features five home screens that users can customize with application icons and widgets, including a search bar, calendar and three-dimensional stacks for grouping content. Android Honeycomb also comes with an assortment of applications, including an email client, tabbed web browser that supports Flash, calendar and media players. In addition, Android Honeycomb tablet users can access the Android Marketplace to download third-party applications.
