Influencer From Ukraine Died From COVID-19 After Claiming The Virus A Hoax

Dmitriy Stuzhuk was a fitness influencer from Ukraine, with more than 1 million followers on Instagram.

Known for actively sharing fitness-related activities with his wife who has the same passion, Stuzhuk woke up one day with a swollen neck.

At the same time, he was also coughing had trouble breathing.

Quickly, he was taken to the hospital, and it was that time that he was tested positive for the 'COVID-19' coronavirus.

It was realized that he contacted the virus while in a trip to Turkey.

Stuzhuk had expressed his doubts about the virus that has hit the whole world, and doubted its existence.

“I was a person who thought Covid didn't exist… until I got sick. COVID-19 is not a short term disease! And it's tough,” he said via his Instagram account on October 14.

At one point, he shared on the social media what he did during treatment, and posted a picture of himself wearing an oxygen mask to help him breathe.

During that time, he admitted to his followers that his condition was fine.

He was in fact released from an overcrowded hospital in the Ukrainian capital Kiev after spending eight days there. However, he was rushed back in within hours after his condition deteriorated.

"His state is extremely grave. No-one can do anything with this." his wife, Sofia Stuzhuk said.

The next day, Sofia reported that her husband had passed away via Instagram.

She announced that her husband died from heart complications triggered by the infection.

"For a lifetime, I am grateful to you for our three daughters. For the whole worth experience. And for who I am with you," she said, as she uploaded a photo of her husband with their children. "I did everything I could so the father of my three children lives. But nothing depends on me now."

Dmitriy Stuzhuk was a father of three children: David, Lola, and Olivia.

Stuzhuk was 33 when he died.
