Being rich allows people to buy some better things in life, and that includes big house. And being famous means that people can influence others to be like them.
Gwyneth Paltrow is best known for being a Hollywood star.
The recipient of various accolades, including an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Primetime Emmy Award, has a career that spans for decades, with films ranging from Shakespeare in Love, The Talented Mr. Ripley, and many more, including a big handful of Marvel films, where she played the role of Pepper Potts.
But what she's less known for, is being a philanthropist, and a businesswoman.
Paltrow is the founder of founder and CEO of the lifestyle company Goop, which has been criticized for promoting pseudoscience, and has authored several cookbooks.
And this time, she's using both her fame and fortune to help and influencer other people to experience her lifestyle.
To do this, she announced on Instagram that she's inviting two fans to stay at her Santa Barbara mansion for one night.
This is because Paltrow has just listed her Montecito guest house on Airbnb.
The property was acquired by Paltrow and her husband for $4.9 million for 2016. The couple then renovated the house in a span of several years to build an “eco mansion” that includes the guest house, where she's inviting her guests, and an Olympic-sized swimming pool.
Things from inside the house include a number of homely touches for the interior design, gleaming bathroom fixtures and marbled walls, queen bed for two guests, couches and chairs, expansive greenery, and accents of wood, and more.
A number of famous people live in Montecito, including Ellen DeGeneres, Oprah Winfrey, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
While one night may not be long to be part of the household and the neighborhood, but chosen fans would be enjoying their stay, with perks that include a guided transcendental meditation session, a relaxing spa day featuring Paltrow’s beauty essentials and a nourishing Goop-inspired meal.
In other words, Paltrow wants to pamper her guests, inviting them to live closer to the Goop lifestyle.
Guests can begin booking on August 15th, and is only available for one night on September 9th.
According to Gwyneth Paltrow in a video tour of the house, where Brian Chesky, the CEO and founder of Airbnb, has a cameo:
In the Airbnb listing, she said that the house is her "sanctuary for respite and mental clarity."
Another thing to note, because she's the one inviting, and that she's inviting fans, Paltrow said that she and her husband are going to be there in person greeting her guests.
