Ronda Rousey is one of UFC's biggest star, ever.
While promotions and huge pay checks, as well as sponsorship were partially made to prevent fighters to earn money elsewhere, the same doesn't apply to Rousey.
In an effort to maximize exposure for the mixed martial artist, the UFC decided to take advantage of Rousey's all-time high popularity by selling her fight-worn Reebok- and Monster Energy-branded tank top from her massive 34-second knockout over Bethe Correia in the main event of UFC 190 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The dirty laundry that went on sale for an opening price of $9.999.95, even came with a certificate from UFC for authenticity.
This isn't the first time such incident happens.
Previously, the UFC has also sold Michelle Waterson's vale tudo shorts for $1,000, and Jessica Eye's vale tudo shorts for $500.
Then, there was Jessamyn Duke’s used bra that was sold for $750.
This kind of sale is also not the first of its kind.
Used (unwashed) clothing has its own market, and it can be traced back to what's called the underwear fetishism, which is a sexual fetishism relating to undergarments, and refers to preoccupation with the excitement of certain types of underwear, including panties, stockings, pantyhose, bras, or other items.

With the growth of internet, fetishists have been able to purchase many different assorted underwear offerings anonymously, and some manufacturers and retailers specializing in lingerie and associated women's apparel cater to the needs of men who are interested in acquiring and wearing these garments.
And with the NFC making use of Rousey's popularity, is a sign that her stardom has risen to a never-before-seen place.
The presence of the shirt online could be viewed as an easy way to earn money from Rousey’s item, and a rare opportunity for fetishist or a 'lucky' fan to own this rare piece of UFC history.
