Then comes the challenges.
Text-to-video models, including Pika, are subject to safety, controllability, and coherence issues. Researchers demonstrated that LLM-based tools care vulnerable to "jailbreak" attacks to some degree, showing how malicious or prohibited content might be synthesized when filters fail.
Then, there is the fact that diffusion-based video models, like Pika, can lack true physical understanding. While they're able to mimic motion, they have no knowledge of the world laws, and this may result to slippages in physics (objects clipping, floating, unnatural deformations).
