Microsoft is Changing and Makes .NET Framework Open-Source and Cross-Platform

The microblogging service more popular with its 140-character "tweet" feature, Twitter, is celebrating its one-year anniversary as a public company. Employees of the company threw a "massive party" in the office to celebrate. Then they went off to private parties hosted by Twitter alumni.
