Sometimes, two people who trust each other enough can engage in sexual activities without fear of hurting the other's feelings.
And in other times, a person can also get attracted to a friend's spouse, which can then result to an affair. And in most it not all of the extramarital affairs, sex is inevitable. Sex is just something that will happen eventually, sooner or later.
This time, Elon Musk, the eccentric billionaire, is laughing off allegations that said that he had an affair with Nicole Shanahan.
The woman, while relatively unknown to many people, was Sergey Brin's wife. Brin, the co-founder of Google, whom has a daughter with Shanahan, divorced Shanahan when he found out about the the extramarital affair allegation.
Musk insisted that he never had any affair with Brin's estranged wife, saying that the claims are "total bs."
The world’s richest man is serious to strongly deny the widely spread rumors, which started by the Wall Street Journal report that claimed a December fling was behind Brin’s divorce.
The claims explained that the affair was also the reason why Brin has been divesting from anything to do with Musk, including his companies.
Musk and Brin have been friends for years, and that the Google co-founder even trusted Musk with $500,000 to help him out in 2008 when Tesla was experiencing financial difficulties.
Wall Street Journal reported that Musk "dropped to one knee" at a party earlier this 2022, and "apologized profusely for the transgression."
It was reported that the affair happened during the Art Basel, which is a multi-day art event in Miami.
Musk denied everything the report claimed.
Musk shared The Washington Posta photo of himself happily hanging out with Brin, a person he considered a longtime friend, even as the rumors spread.
"Took this pic only two hours ago," said Elon Musk, to show that he is still friends with Brin.
"Nicole and Sergey’s divorce has absolutely nothing to do with me." Musk insisted, trying to laugh off the wild reports about the friendship-ruining affair.
"I am sure both Nicole and Sergey would confirm that. I spoke with both Sergey and Nicole about this and they say the story isn’t coming from them, so [it] must be a case of broken telephone, two or three layers removed," he said.
"And, not to dodge the question, I have only seen Nicole twice in three years, both times with many other people around."
He also said that he and Shanahan "were not romantically involved in any way,” he insisted.
Musk, who once said that being rich and famous can be lonely at times, dismissed the report, by also showing how the report is an example of "character assassination attacks [that] have reached a new level this year."
"I work crazy hours, so there just isn’t much time for shenanigans. None of the key people involved in these alleged wrongdoings were even interviewed!" he said.
"The amount of attention on me has gone supernova, which super sucks. Unfortunately, even trivial articles about me generate a lot of clicks. Will try my best to be heads down focused on doing useful things for civilization," he tweeted.
Musk also suggested followers to call out the Wall Street Journal, which "is supposed to have a high standard for journalism."
"WSJ should be running stories that actually matter to their readers and have solid factual basis, not third-party random hearsay," Musk said.
And in his conclusion, Musk also said that sex isn't the thing he has in his mind when around women.
"Haven’t even had sex in ages (sigh)," he said in a tweet.

Other women who had been romantically involved with Musk, include his first then ex-wife, Canadian Justine Wilson, his second then ex-wife, English actress Talulah Riley, and actress Amber Heard, whom he briefly dated when she was divorced from actor Johnny Depp.
Musk also had various other alleged misbehaviors, and has been accused of exposing his penis to a SpaceX employee and asking for sexual favors.
Among that, also included a sexual misconduct with a SpaceX flight attendant in his private jet in 2016.
"If I were inclined to engage in sexual harassment, this is unlikely to be the first time in my entire 30-year career that it comes to light," Musk said responding to the claim at the time.
The sexual harassment allegation made Tesla's stock to fall by more than 6%, decreasing Musk's net worth by $10 billion.
