Adult videos, created by professionals or amateurs, will get the attention they want. And if they ever went viral, they can create a storm of people trying to view them.
And this time, the viral videos attributed to "Andini Permata" have ignited a firestorm across Indonesian social media, particularly on platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok, starting in July 2025. What began as seemingly innocuous clip quickly escalated into a complex and concerning online phenomenon, raising questions about privacy, ethics, and digital security.
And, child sexual abuse.
The initial content, which depicts a woman, dancing alongside a young boy, purported to be her sibling, gained traction, before the woman became associated with the name "Andini Permata."
And following that, yet another scandal shook Indonesia’s social media: Andini Permata has sex tapes.

But what sparked the womanhunt for the clips is that, someone claimed to have a full-length 12‑minute version, while some others claimed to have them in several parts.
In the footage, a naked woman, purportedly Andini, appears in a closed space with seven men. She even smiles at moments that raised public concern over whether the scene was consensual or coerced.
Users noted that some of the men in the video seem to speak with a Southeast Sulawesi accent, strongly suggesting—though not confirming—that the content involves individuals from that region. Remarkably, no official statements have verified the identities of those involved or the precise location of the recording.
One man in the clip can be heard saying phrases like “Baringko, kobaring, telan semua itu,” suggesting awareness and participation in the scene.
But that only scratches the surface.
Following the video that is pornographic in nature, then people began to realize that the boy she was dancing with in the first video, was actually violated.
It's revealed that not only she has a bunch of videos of herself, all pornographic, but there is also one particular video where she asked the boy to touch her, fondle her, and even give her cunnilingus.
In the video, the woman is depicted to have a mole on her cheek, and a scar on her lower abdomen suggesting she must have had an appendectomy, just like other of her videos that show her alone.
Not only due to her having a leaked sex tape, but this particular video caused huge outrage.
Despite the spread, there is no verified person behind the name, no social media account, nor credible evidence.
In the era where AI can easily recreate someone, even depicting them in the most immoral and degrading form, experts warn strongly that much of the content tied to her name likely stems from fabricated clickbait designed to lure viewers into dangerous links.

The rapid dissemination of these videos, fueled by hashtags and fervent online discussion, highlighted the internet's capacity for both rapid information spread and intense scrutiny.
The internet's reaction to the "Andini Permata" videos has been multifaceted and polarized.
On one hand, a significant portion of the online community has voiced strong ethical objections, condemning the perceived exploitation of the child and the violation of privacy. Hashtags advocating for digital consent and respect for privacy gained traction, reflecting a collective concern for the individuals involved.
Conversely, some online discussions veered into speculation and even accusations, with theories ranging from genuine leaks to calculated publicity stunts, whether AI is involved or not.

What's worth noting here is that, during the virality, people often confuse the Kendari video with the Andini Permata phenomenon, mostly due to misleading captions and overlapping buzz.
However, the two incidents differ sharply: “1 vs 7” involves multiple adults engaging in sexual activities in a scenario labeled indecent, whereas the Andini Permata case centers only around a single woman and a child, in a shorter video clip laden with moral panic and speculation.
In sum, “Kendari 1 vs 7” and the Andini Permata clips are distinct scandals—each viral and alarming in its own right—but with separate content, contexts, and actors.
While both cases underscore the dangers of sensationalism in digital spaces, the latter went viral due to the morality it inflicts.
Because it involves a minor, the act is also considered non-consensual. Since it becomes part of sexual assault, the woman is clearly involved in child molestation and sexual abuse, and should be treated very seriously under the law.
Just like things that came before this, Andini Permata becomes a term that escalated in virality and discussion. As a result, a lot of bad actors with bad intention have piggybacked the overwhelming popularity to spread malware. And in this particular case, a critical hazard across both videos due to the spread of malicious links promising access to “full videos.”
Most of these links are deceptive, if not merely clickbait; often serve as conduits for phishing scams, malware distribution, and other forms of online fraud.
Users who, driven by curiosity, clicked on these unverified links risked compromising their personal data, infecting their devices with malware, or falling victim to various online deceptions.

Beyond the immediate controversy, the "Andini Permata viral video" phenomenon has unfortunately become a prime example of how viral content can be weaponized for more malicious purposes.
Despite the widespread attention, no formal statement or legal indictment has yet come from authorities regarding either video.
The police had not confirmed the identities of the woman or the men in the Kendari footage, nor the video’s true origin, nor reveal who this "Andini Permata" is.
Cybersecurity experts and government bodies, such as Indonesia's Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo), have issued stern warnings, urging the public to exercise extreme caution and refrain from clicking on suspicious links.
This incident underscores a critical vulnerability in the digital landscape: the exploitation of human curiosity to facilitate cybercrime, turning a viral moment into a potential digital security crisis for unsuspecting individuals.
Lastly, it's worth noting that despite the speculations about AI being involved, AI at this time can have a hard time replicating a mole on someone's face for deepfake. Due to known facts, like moles are unique and can vary from one person to another, the lack of permanence in generative models, the rendering challenges and intentional omission of moles in training data suggests that the video of the woman with the minor is true.
