As the tech company Apple matures, it is no longer a child that needs nursing. Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple, has left the company for more than too long.
But as a tech enthusiast and a proponent of cutting-edge technology, he once said that he couldn't tell the difference between newer iPhones due to their lack of innovations.
Things are different when speaking about Bitcoin.
Wozniak praised the most popular cryptocurrency, praising the underlying technology and calculations that underpin it.

He noted that some people buy cryptocurrencies because they are not aware of the potential windfalls.
Due to their native volatility, the prices of cryptocurrencies can vary very quickly.
"Then they just fold," he said.
But what worries him the most is how government could disallow Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
Bitcoin has shown its capacity in driving the economy of the real world, and has disrupted the conventional and traditional forms of transactions of some banking systems. To some, this popular cryptocurrency can be considered a threat.
"The trouble is governments will never allow it to be out of their control. If it got to the point where everything is being done in crypto and didn’t pass through governments for observation and taxation and all that, governments would just disallow it. They wouldn’t give up their power," he warned.
Previously, Wozniak praised Bitcoin, when he said that the product is a "mathematical miracle." He also said that Bitcoin is "mathematical purity."
Among other reasons, this was also why Wozniak sued YouTube and Google for promoting Bitcoin giveaway scams using his name and likeness.
Wozniak however, couldn't do much because a judge ruled that "YouTube and its parent, Google LLC, are protected by the federal law that shields internet platforms from responsibility for content posted by users."
In addition to be a fond of Bitcoin, Wozniak is also a fan of the metaverse.
However, he is less enthusiastic about non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
He said that for the most part, NFTs are "so up in the air," that they have a track record of being "rip-offs."
Wozniak is also skeptical about most other cryptocurrencies.
