Microsoft rolled out on its store a new Cellular Data app, allowing Windows 10 users with Microsoft SIM card to buy data plans. With Microsoft SIM card, users can connect to a nationwide mobile data using their Microsoft account.

The market for the service was initially disclosed, but the company has said that the app would be available in some markets and offer domestic plans with international roaming in moments to come.

"We are always exploring new features for Windows 10. Right now, we are exploring additional ways for customers with Windows 10 PCs and tablets to connect to data services," said Microsoft in its statement.

Users can purchase a plan through a Windows Store anywhere network coverage is available, the company added. To use the service, users need to just clock on the Wi-Fi icon in the app and choose Cellular Data from a list of networks.
