To achieve something, effort is needed.
To compete against the noise, in order to be seen by wanderers and those who stumbled into the so-called rabbit hole of YouTube, a herculean attempt must be made,.
From creating the best content, which include brainstorming for ideas, getting the appropriate hardware, putting the best title, upload it at the right moment, reach the intended audience, and more. It takes a lot of ingredients to make a YouTube video successful.
Making a channel successful is even harder.
Some people have better luck than others.
But the luckiest, would be Cristiano Ronaldo.

Cristiano Ronaldo recently launched his own YouTube channel called “UR Cristiano” on August 21, 2024.
The channel features a variety of content, including his greatest passion—soccer—as well as his other interests like family, wellness, nutrition, preparation, recovery, education, and business.
Ronaldo’s channel also offers fans exclusive content, training sessions, and personal insights from the football legend himself.
It also include behind-the-scenes moments like a glimpse of his home life, including the life he leads with partner Georgina Rodriguez, which is something the public don’t get to see on the sports channels and match reports.
For obvious reasons, the channel broke the record for the fastest to reach one million subscribers, achieving this milestone in just 90 minutes.
What this means, it only took the football legend one and a half hour of launching his channel, to get his YouTube Gold Play Button.
This achievement set a new record for the fastest channel to reach one million subscribers.
In comparison to Ronaldo's achievement as a YouTuber, the second fastest YouTube channel to reach one million subscribers is Jennie Ruby Jane Official, the channel of BLACKPINK’s Jennie.
She achieved this milestone in just seven hours after launching the channel on January 16, 2021, which was the record before Ronaldo’s channel broke it.
MrBeast, the YouTube heavyweight champion who is known for having the largest number of subscribers, took a whole 2 years to get first million subscribers.
MrBeast, whose real name is James Stephen "Jimmy" Donaldson, reached 1 million subscribers on his main YouTube channel on May 6, 2017.
YouTube Creator Awards, commonly known as YouTube Play Buttons or YouTube Plaques, are a series of awards YouTube is giving to popular channels.
These awards are based on a channel's subscriber count, and that YouTube individually reviewed each and every eligible channel, to ensure the channel follows the YouTube community guidelines.
In this case, getting the Gold Play Button is like a walk in the park for Ronaldo.
After all, his effort doesn't come from his attempt in creating the best videos to beat the noise and capture anyone who got caught in YouTube's recommendation algorithm.
As a legend himself in the field, the Portuguese professional footballer who is at this time plays as a forward for and captains both Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr and the Portugal national team, is already regarded as one of the greatest players of all time.
With a long list of awards and records, dozens of trophies and a list of league titles, Ronaldo holds the records for most appearances, goals and assists in many of the leagues, as well as having made more than a thousand professional career appearances.
He is also one of the top goalscorer of all time.
So here, he is the noise where everything about him came from.
He is the goat, and even YouTube admits it.
siuuuuuu!! congrats @Cristiano for hitting 1M SIUUUbscribers and counting on YouTube! → https://t.co/ptgZJfZehF pic.twitter.com/uIqvK0fJDJ

Ronaldo's pace didn't slow down, because in just 24 hours, he already had 10 million subscribers.
The next day, which was the second day of his YouTube channel, he reached 30 million subscribers.
Ronaldo's social media record can be traced back to him, being the first person to have 250 million followers on Instagram, among others.
He also broke a record when he posted a comment on Kylian Mbappé post.
