Despite OnlyFans never consider itself a host for some adult entertainment, pop culture somehow says that it sort of is.
There have been way too many instances on the internet, where a sexually attractive female would have people asking for her OnlyFans.
And Jessie Cave is jumping head first into it.
Despite saying that she has no plans in posting any nudity or sexual, she asserted that would be posting "sensual" things about her on the subscription-based adult content.
Jessica Alice Cave Lloyd, or known just Jessie Cave, is an English actress best known for her role as Ron Weasley's girlfriend Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter film series.
The comedian, YouTuber, author and cartoonist is also known for her shows in London and at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Jessie made the announcement on social media that she is joining OnlyFans, saying on Instagram that she will be offering things like "the best quality hair sounds."
"It’s a fetish. Fetish doesn’t necessarily mean sexual," she said in an episode of Before We Break Up Again podcast.
She refers this to her hair, which is now long with a shade or brown and blonde, and ASMR, an euphoria-inducing auditory stimuli.
"I do a lot of videos with my hair on Instagram, and I noticed there's a lot of [...] it's never dirty comments but I do get lots of interest in the hair thing," she added. "I just thought fuck it I'm going to do something that is very niche."
As for her decision to join OnlyFans, she said that she intends to earn enough money to clear her debts.
"One year. I’ll try for one year. My aim? To get the house safe, cover the arsenic/lead wallpaper, build a new roof etc. My aim? To get out of debt. My aim? To empower myself? To prove to those in the past who have misjudged me that I’m not so sweet? To put time into something I never invested in before: self-love," she explained.
She plans on documenting everything in an online diary.
"To make it clear: I am not doing explicit sexual content. However, it is all very new territory for me, and I am going to be honest about it here, documenting how it’s making me feel," she wrote.
"So I thank you in advance for your time and for reading without judgement. I am sure you understand why these posts will be behind a little paywall."
Jessie Cave, born in London in May 1987, is an accomplished actress who came from a large family, with her mother being the daughter of Sir Charles Philip Haddon-Cave.
Jessie attended Latymer Upper School and briefly pursued Illustration and Animation at Kingston University, and stage management at RADA before applying for a drama school.
She was a county-level swimmer and national tennis player, but had to gave up her dream and her sporting career due to an injury. She also had experience of being raped by her own tennis coach at the age of 14.
Jessie entered the entertainment industry with her debut in Summerhill in 2008.
She received her Harry Potter role right when she was about to enroll in the Oxford School of Drama. She appeared as Lavender Brown in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, where she was paired with Rupert Grint's Ron Weasley.
Later she reprised her role in the last two concluding Harry Potter films. After Harry Potter, she appeared in some episodic supporting roles for British TV shows.
Long story short, Jessie first forayed into the industry as a child actress.
Beyond acting, Cave has established herself as a talented artist and illustrator, publishing a book of cartoons, and creating a range of greeting cards.
She has also ventured into fashion, she co-hosts her own podcast with her sister, Bebe Cave.
