People come and go, and many people are born and die.
But people don't just disappear.
When it comes to the internet, people can disappear pretty easily. Some just needed a break, and some may search for success elsewhere. But TikToker Andrew Dawson has left his fans on the platform worried and confused.
This is because he disappeared after he posted videos of a "giant" he witnessed on top of an icy mountain in the Jarpes National Park in Canada, known as "Whistlers Peak."
"I’m scared," he said to his viewers, saying that they might not see him post ever again after the said post.
After the video that went viral, Andrew uploaded another video, where he and a friend were hunting for the figure they had seen a couple of days ago, to try to get closer and clearer images.
Upon reaching a place near the mountain and with good visibility of the place, Andrew said that the "giant" was no longer visible as he pointed to the area.
He said that he spoke to the locals, who said that the figure comes and goes.
After uploading some videos later, things get creepier, and his fans became particularly worried because Andrew has not been seen anymore on TikTok, and any other form of social media.
With his sudden disappearance following his unusual finding, people began wondering and speculating.
Some said that his finding of the strange phenomenon led him to an alleged interaction with the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS).
There is also claims that he was being "stalked" after posting his post.
But later, for some reasons, Andrew gave an update to say that everything he posted was for "entertainment," and that his claims were "fake."
After posting a series of conspiracy theory videos on his page, he asserted that these videos were fabricated.
However, he retracted this claim shortly afterwards. He then hinted to his fans that they might not hear from him again, adding to the mystery surrounding his sudden absence.
"Too much has happened and I can't be forced to be silent," he said.
Then, he shared another video, in which he saw something again up there in the mountain. But not a giant, but some sort of building that wasn't there before.
He once again asked his viewers if some military operation was happening on the mountain in question.
This post, made on May 18th, 2022, is his last post.
Regardless of the truth behind the "giant," the self-proclaimed military building, or the truth whether he became target for witnessing something he shouldn't, Andrew's obituary was posted in the Campbell River Mirror back in July 2022, indicating he had passed away.
Andrew died leaving family members behind, including his children.
Following the news, fellow TikTokers continued theorizing about his disappearance, and his death.
Some debated that the videos couldn't be real, and that Andrew was only finding his internet fame that he continued creating lies and more lies.
Many believe that this was all just an elaborate prank and that the death was just a coincidence.
Still, plenty of others who offered their condolences about his passing.
