Unlike 'physical' things like money, precious metals, or other things that can be seen or touched, anything that involves software consists of bytes that are 'invisible' to the human eyes.

These things can only be made visible through a medium, like a screen. However, they can live forever, as long as they are stored properly, can be replicated without any chances of degradations, and can be anywhere at any time.

On mobile, the market is pretty much conquered by two titans: Google with its Android operating system, and Apple with iOS.

The two tech companies are in a never-ending war for supremacy. However, in the war waged between the two, the two companies are also in it together, having each other's backs in the largest duopoly the tech industry has even seen.

Billions and billions of dollars can be made in this industry every single year, and the two companies are sharing their trophy.

Apple, the tech giant from the U.S. the creator of some of the most expensive gadgets in the world, is known for many things.

And if compared to most in the competition, Apple is known for its "walled-garden." On its mobile products, Apple doesn't allow anything out of the default interface and features.

Apple's strict ecosystem can be annoying. For example, the strict rules prevents people to customize their phones to a degree than their Android counterparts have always enjoyed.

To some people, this makes the experience dull and kind of boring.

However, the rules do have some advantages.

For example, this allows Apple to have the utmost control of the ecosystem, allowing it to quickly patch holes and push updates. This also makes Apple a more versatile platform, and relatively more reliable and mature.
