Marina Ann Hantzis, is an American actress, model, writer and musician. But what she's most-famous for, is her past for being a pornographic actress.
Before filming her last adult film at age 21 in 2009, and making a formal announcement about her retirement from the industry on Facebook in April 2011, Marina was Sasha Grey, the recipient of various accolades between 2007 and 2010, including the AVN Award for Female Performer of the Year in 2008.
What this literally means, Marina, or Sasha, has exposed pretty much every single millimeter of her skin to the public.
But when she brought that fact to mainstream films, outrage happens.
The former porn star appeared naked on HBO's Entourage.
During the sixth episode on the seventh season of the series, Sasha took the role of a fictionalized version of herself, where she became Vincent Chase's new girlfriend.
The audience was surprised to see her, not because she was naked in the film, because obviously, pretty much everyone who knows her name, should know her past works.
The thing is, the hysteria happened because Sasha appeared with her famous full bush.
Sasha simply delivered more than what men in particular, expected.
As a matter of fact, the episode in question is even aptly called "Hair".
While Sasha is known for sporting a natural-grown pubic hair during her work at the adult industry, bringing that fact to the mainstream film caught many people by surprise.
As a result of this, it was the pube-pocalypse, at least on Twitter.
The moment divided the internet, where people began speaking about their pubic hair preferences.
Some mocked Sasha for showing her 1970-inspired pubic hair, and said that they got disgusted by it, others said that they love it.

But Sasha Grey chose the opposite and prefer to keep her pubic hair style as it is.
Things are quite the opposite in mainstream films, where film rating system force filmmakers to obscure pubic region of actors and actresses. If the roles 'should' show frontal nudity, mainstream films have to put a cover on the genitals, in order to obscure the male's penis, and the female's vulva.
The most obvious thing to do here, for the woman, is to make the actress grow her own pubic hair.
If that is not possible, the actress have to put a merkin.
The episode of Entourage was taken too seriously, as there are seemingly only two ways of looking at a woman’s pubic hair: not enough reveals more than any man would ever want to know about any woman’s vagina, and make the film rated adult and cannot be shown to the general public; and too much rendering of the genitals can make vagina too frighteningly mysterious.
In Entourage, Sasha who is famous for having a natural pubic hair style throughout her career, had her hair down there breathe on the episode.
Sasha simply revealed this be revealing herself, but no one seemed to consider that her pubic hair style of choice is actually how a woman should look if she goes without shaving.
Responding to the critics and to address the haters, Sasha created a tweet about it.

It's worth noting that Sasha Grey is one of just a handful of adult performers who goes quite the opposite of the usual, but her own way. She's more like a person who doesn't want to be dictated, and as a result, her looks and her work managed to cement herself permanently as one of the most famous adult performers, ever.
