Following the successful launch of Facebook's Internet.org in the Africa, the company is launching its services in the country of Colombia. The country is the fourth after Zambia, Tanzania and Kenya.

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg traveled to Colombia on to bring his global internet-access initiative to Latin America. In an event with President Juan Manuel Santos, Zuckerberg explained how low-end mobile device users in Colombia will now be able to access for free a limited number of websites with the partnership between Internet.org and a local cellular phone provider, Tigo.

As his first time in Colombia, Zuckerberg took his one-day visit to hold the first-ever town hall meeting with Facebook users outside the U.S.. Beside mostly talking about Facebook's mission to connect the world, Zuckerberg was also asked about his opinion about the terrorist attack on Charlie Hebdo, how much he knew about Colombia, and others.
