Once a celebrity, always a celebrity.
Having a high-profile status, especially when it's world-class, translates to not only fame, but also fortune. With recognition that spans to corners of the web, these individuals can both afford some of the best things in life.
But sometimes, the pressure is so huge that it's a burden.
Britney Spears is an American singer who rose to fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s with her pop music. She is known for her hit songs such as ‘…Baby One More Time’ and ‘Oops!..I Did It Again’ However, she has also been under intense public scrutiny following her tumultuous personal life, and after she was placed under a court-ordered conservatorship, which gave her father control over her finances and personal life.
After she was finally able to terminate the conservatorship after a long legal battle, she released a memoir titled The Woman in Me, which details her experience with the conservatorship and other aspects of her life.

She also made bold claims that creates controversies the moment the book came out.
And the biggest of them all, would be her abortion story.
Since the book came out, the internet has been talking about the issue.
While only about two full pages out of the memoir’s 277 pages are dedicated to telling Britney’ abortion story, yet thousands of articles and social media posts center this narrative.
What make it intriguing is the fact that Britney mentioned singer Justin Timberlake as the father of her baby.
Britney, a name considered an icon for Millennials back in the 1990s and early 2000s, said that she was pregnant during her relationship with Justin, which dated from 1999 to 2002.
What this means, the alleged pregnancy happened during Britney's peak career.
According to the book, Justin was strongly against the idea of the two becoming parents.
"But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young," she said.
Justin's decision led to her decision to have an abortion.
Britney said that she "kind of" understood why.

"Abortion was something I never would have imagined choosing for myself, but given the circumstances, that is what we did," wrote Britney.
"If he didn’t want to become a father, I didn’t feel like I had much of a choice. I wouldn’t want to push him into something he didn’t want," said Britney.
To protect her privacy, Britney said that she undergone a self-managed medical abortion at home, which only Justin and her then-assistant Felicia knew about.
She describes her experience as extremely painful, which included “excruciating cramps,” sobbing and screaming in pain for hours, wondering if she was going to die.
"To this day, it’s one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life," Britney writes, describing the physical pain she endured.
The internet, and many of both Britney and Justin's fans have called out the two to explain the meaning of this.
While other A-listers have previously disclosed affairs and abortions, but none of them echoes the web the way Britney is, because the 'Toxic' singer has seen way too many ups and downs throughout her career.
Britney was a cultural icon, and both a symbol of sex and purity, the same way Madonna is often associated with sexual liberation and female empowerment.
Britney was only 16 when her first hit was released in 1998.
She was young, beautiful and energetic. She became famous during the age where people expected her to be the portrayal of virginity, but yet, the public exploited her, and hyper-sexualized her.
Britney’s sex sells, because she really embodied this contradictory cultural space.
This is the main reason why her pregnancy with Justin shook the public like never before.

Following the revelation, Justin Justin turned off the comments section on his Instagram profile.
He did so to prevent receiving way too many hate comments and questions to bear.
At the same time, Justin is also accused by Britney in her memoir, of cheating.
According to a report from some publications who received insights from insiders, it's said that Justin was "on edge," and that he had "major worries" about the issue.
Justin also allegedly expressed "big concerns" about his music comeback being affected by Britney's memoir and bombshell revelations.
But regardless, Justin has been one of the many people close to Britney who tried to be supportive to Britney from a distance, for years.
While their love relationship ended decades ago, Justin still respects her.
It's worth noting that Britney's view of Justin is a contrast to her view on Sam Asghari.
Britney said that Asghari is a "gift from God," and that he was "such an inspiration."
