Piracy is one thing, and Indonesia is fighting that.
The next thing, is pornography.
The Cybercrime Subdivision of the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate (Ditreskrimsus) of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police has uncovered a network involved in the production of adult films.
In an operation that took place on September 11th, 2023, the authorities found that in South Jakarta, a production house has created Indonesian pornographic films, and distributed them to the internet, mostly though three paid adult websites.
During the raid, the police arrested five individuals who played crucial roles in the production of these adult films, including the director, cameramen, editors, and male and female performers.
While five people were arrested, it's reported that there are 11 female performers and 5 male performers involved in these adult film productions.
And one of the performers, is none other than Siskaeee. the woman who has been involved in previous incidents related to explicit content.
Siskaeee was previously sentenced to 10 months in connection with adult content at Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA), where she posted, among others, a video of herself as an exhibitionist, exposing her breasts and genitalia. Her arrest led to the confiscation of a hard drive containing 6,000 GB of photos and videos, as well as a phone with 2,000 photos and 3,000 videos.
After being released, Siskaeee's name has resurfaced in connection with the investigation of a pornography production house.
In addition to Siskaeee, the police plan to question a social media influencer named Virly Virginia, who is also considered a witness in this case.
Virly is known for her past work as a model for adult magazines and has also appeared in several mainstream films. She is also active on social media platforms.
Initially, on these two female performers were mentioned, because the two performed in Kramat Tunggak.
As for the director, a man named Irwansyah has been arrested.
Besides being the director behind the films, Irwansyah is also a website administrator, and the owner of 'Kelas Bintang' production house.

But it's worth noting that the production house is reported to have produced at least 120 adult film titles.
The performers for these many films involved a number of Indonesian celebrities, social media influencers, and models.
These performers were not under contract with the production house but were paid between Rp10 million to Rp15 million per film, with payments varying depending on their public influence.
The case created both outrage by many Indonesians.
While pornography does thrive in Indonesia, and that many netizens do browse the web for viewing adult content, locally-made, professional adult films do not exist.
And speaking of Kramat Tunggak, the film is like what Indonesians have seen during the late 1970s to the early 1990s, in which the film is essentially a softcore film.
Softcore films typically featured sensual and erotic themes, and can include nudity and sexual tension, and also suggestive scenes. However, all of them stop short of showing explicit sexual acts or graphic depictions of intercourse.
Penetration also doesn't happen during the filming.
This was clarified by Virly Virginia, who shared some insights into the techniques used in filming intimate scenes in the context of the adult film industry. According to her, these camera techniques can be misleading to the uninitiated, as they make it appear as if the scenes are real. She mentioned this during an interview, published on YouTube on on September 15, 2023.
In addition to camera techniques, she also emphasized the importance of acting in creating convincing scenes.
She suggested that the actors and the actresses need to portray their characters and expressions convincingly to make the audience believe in the authenticity of the emotions portrayed. According to her, having a variety of facial expressions is crucial for this purpose, allowing the audience to perceive the scenes as genuine.
Indonesia has seen a number of Indonesian filmmakers producing softcore films that attracted significant audiences, but that only happened in the past.
Indonesia started seeing a heavy decline in softcore films starting the early 1990s, when the Indonesian government implemented stricter regulations on film content.
Since these films were often criticized for their content, they faced censorship and regulatory challenges.
The production and popularity of softcore films have also significantly declined due to changing cultural norms.
After that, the Indonesian film industry evolved, and the focus shifted to producing a wider range of genres, including dramas, comedies, and action films.
It's also worth noting that Kelas Bintang has been making a lot of films from various genres, including those for advertisements and for television. The thing is, Irwansyah had a hard time publishing some of the films, that he needed to brainstorm for ideas.
Because of that, due to financial ruins, Irwansyah shifted his films from mainstream to adult. He said that he was inspired by JAV (Japanese Adult Video).
Irwansyah once said on X, that he wanted to become a famous director to make his mother proud.
