Twitter Starts Allowing Users To Share Their Tweets As Instagram Stories

Twitter, Instagram

Twitter and Instagram have long been in a love-hate relationship. This isn't going anywhere, but when there is an opportunity, business-wise, one or the other will take it.

This time, Twitter is introducing a way for its users to share tweets directly to Instagram. In an announcement, the microblogging platform is rolling out the feature to only its iOS users, and only to a select people. That before pushing the feature out to everyone.

In the update, users are given an option to choose Instagram Stories, when they hit the share button under a tweet.

This feature should help a lot of users.

Instagram is way larger than Twitter. However, Twitter is still in many people's hearts, simply because of its unrivaled real-time social media approach in the simplest way possible.

With the update, Twitter is eliminating the hassle of taking screenshots and posting them on Instagram.

This tweet-sharing feature is a small feature, and is considered to be a minor addition.

But this shows that sometimes, platforms have to think more about the needs of their users, more than the platforms think of themselves.

With the many people using the internet, the web and mobile, most use multiple platforms on a daily basis.

And to make those Instagram users happy, Twitter is giving those users a way to share their tweets to Instagram, in just a couple of taps.

It should be noted though, while it’s easier to share tweets to Instagram, it’s still just as hard to share Instagram content to Twitter.

Posting an Instagram link on Twitter is going to just show a plain URL, without a preview card. The functionality disappeared way back in 2012, and Instagram at this time has no plans to reintroduce the feature.
