This is exactly what happened to Anna Beatriz Pereira Alves.
Known online as "Anna Polly," she was discovered lifeless in the ground-floor courtyard of the four-star Mont Blanc Apart Hotel in Nova Iguaçu, just outside Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The OnlyFans adult star was engaging in a threesome at a hotel's balcony, before the intense lovemaking scene reportedly sent the Brazilian bombshell head-over-heels off a balcony, plunging to her death.
The police had to know more about this unique case.
Brazilian authorities are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding Anna's death.
At the time of the tragic incident, Anna is believed to have been in the middle of video-recording sexcapades involving two men.
When investigators questioned these two men, the men were clearly involved in the ill-fated project, gave inconsistent statements to authorities.
However, neither of them was immediately arrested.
Both men, also OnlyFans content creators, were later released, but the Baixada Fluminense Homicide Unit didn't rule out foul play.
It the tragic incident was not an accident, chances are, Anna was murdered, or committed suicide.
Using this speculation investigators review the hotel surveillance footage, questioning its staffs, and analyzing Anna’s phone in an effort to uncover the truth.

During the initial investigation, Anna's autopsy results were still pending, and this left questions about whether drugs were in her system or if there were any signs of sexual violence.
"It’s a complex case, and we don’t rule out any possibility, from an accident to a possible crime," a homicide investigator reportedly said.
At the moment of the tragic event, she was 27-year-old,
Anna’s boyfriend, Pedro Henrique—who was not present during the incident—expressed his heartbreak on social media, urging authorities to uncover what really happened.
"As the hours pass it’s starting to sink in and the hole in my heart is only getting bigger," he said.
He told local media that there will be justice if Anna's "death wasn’t accidental."
"If someone is to blame, they will pay and the culprit will be found," the grieving man added.
Pedro, heartbroken, paid tribute to his late girlfriend and announced details of her funeral in a social media post.
"It’s so difficult without you," he said.
