A video capturing a group of foreigners engaging in a strange, erotic, and indecent ritual has gone viral on social media.
The ritual, with pornographic undertones, is said to have taken place at a villa in Ubud, Gianyar, Bali.
According to reports, the circulated video shows a bearded man being hugged by several scantily clad foreign women. They engage in erotic movements while touching the man's body.
Following this, there are scenes of women appearing to dance provocatively. Some are kneeling and sticking out their tongues towards other women. Several women sit in chairs, engaging in erotic movements.
There are also several men and women embracing while caressing each other in front of them.
The actions of these foreigners have sparked outrage as they are seen as disrespectful to the values upheld in Bali. Their behavior has been deemed inappropriate.

Seemingly, the people are in trance, or or high, or under influence of certain substance, if not alcohol.
Even to foreigners and not just Indonesian, the ritual is indeed unusual.
Among the earliest attempt to make the video viral, was made by Niluh Putu Ary Pertami Djelantik.
Or also known by the name Niluh Djelantik, the Balinese entrepreneur and activist, has become a go-to person for dealing with misbehaving tourists in Bali.
After her post went viral, the the police have initiated an investigation into the alleged indecent ritual.
"The Criminal Investigation Unit of Gianyar Police is currently investigating the incident," said the Head of Public Relations of the Bali Regional Police, Commissioner Jansen Avitus Panjaitan.
Jansen stated that the ritual took place in several villas in Ubud. There is a possibility that the peculiar ritual was held without the knowledge or consent of the villa owners.
After coordinating with the Immigration authorities, the police received information that the man strongly suspected of leading the ritual is an Indian national named Satyarthi Prateek, the founder of Tantra Nectar University, an internationally renowned Tantra Yoga and Meditation Master.
He was born in India and started his spiritual journey in 2000 when he met his first master Shri Kamal Yogi-Ji, a tantric mystical yogi.
It was confirmed that he left Indonesia on April 22, 2024.
However, Jansen emphasized that the police will continue to investigate the case.
"The Bali Regional Police, along with relevant agencies, will continue to investigate and take further steps regarding the alleged incident to ensure that it does not happen again, as it could tarnish Bali's image, which is known for its culture, traditions, and customs full of politeness and love," Jansen said firmly.
He also urged the public to remain calm and not be provoked. Domestic and foreign tourists visiting Bali are also asked to respect the customs and values that apply in Bali.
Indonesia's Directorate General of Immigration has also responded to Niluh Djelantik inquiry, by first commenting on her post.
Satyarthi Prateek's website explains Satyarthi was in Bali in 2024 for two times, where he practiced Tantra Massage, known as a physical act of touch that intends to enlighten those interacting in it by harnessing sexual energy within the body.
Satyarthi aims to help people explore every aspect of life through meditation and Tantra.
"Come to the live retreat and begin your journey as a Woman through pleasure, joy, and orgasmicity via the unique 'Nectar of Tantra' method," the website says.
Regardless, Ubud in Bali is known as a place where people uphold religious practices, respect their ancestors, and maintain the purity of the area.
Balinese Hindus believe in the curative properties of the elements. While they believe that yoga and meditations are good, erotic movements are not welcome.
Ubud is a cultural and spiritual at heart, and is a place where locals cherish their heritage and uphold the sanctity of their land.
It's worth noting that the video was first uploaded by an Instagram user that goes by the handle @picrich_. But following the virality of the video, the account was made inaccessible.
It's also worth noting that Satyarthi's and Tantra Nectar's social media accounts have mostly gone dark or private, further fueling curiosity.
