The AI industry is rapidly evolving, and that milestones after milestones are reached.
Since OpenAI introduced ChatGPT, tech companies that began to realize how lucrative this generative AI market can be, and that they began an arms race to develop their own products, all of which is meant to either equal, or surpass the AIs that came out of OpenAI.
Anthropic is one of them.
The company, known for its Claude AI products, managed to make itself unique through what it calls 'Artifacts'.
Artifacts can turn conversations with Claude into a more creative and collaborative experience.
And this time, Anthropic is making the Artifacts feature available to all users, after launching it as a feature preview in June.
Today, we're making Artifacts available for all Claude users. You can now also create and view Artifacts on the Claude iOS and Android apps.
Since launching in preview in June, tens of millions of Artifacts have been created. But where did it all begin?

In an announcement, Anthropic said that:
About how to use it, Anthropic gave a few use cases as examples:
- Developers can make architecture diagrams from codebases.
- Product managers can create interactive prototypes for rapid feature testing.
- Designers can build powerful visualizations for quick prototyping.
- Marketers can design campaign dashboards with performance metrics.
- Sales teams can visualize sales pipelines with forecasting insights.
"Every team can use Claude to create high-quality work products faster than ever before. From code snippets and flowcharts to SVG graphics, websites, and interactive dashboards, Artifacts help bring your ideas and projects to life," Anthropic explained.
Users on Free and Pro plans can publish and remix Artifacts with the broader community, allowing them to build and iterate on the materials published by other users around the world.
As for the Team plan users, they can create Artifacts and share them in Projects, enabling teammates to collaborate in a secure environment.
Anthropic is a San Francisco-based AI startup, and the purpose of Artifacts, is to enhance the collaboration between humans and AI by allowing Claude to share standalone content in a dedicated window separate from the main conversation.
The idea is to allow users to work with pieces of content within this window, modifying, building upon, or referencing them later.
From running code snippets to running full programs, Artifacts also support a wide range of outputs, including flowcharts, SVG graphics, websites, and interactive dashboards.
While rivals have been focusing on enhancing processing power and expanding model capabilities, Anthropic is redesigning AI interfaces away from the simple chatbot model.
Anthropic envisions Artifacts as a versatile tool that can be utilized by teams across various industries to accelerate the creation of high-quality work products.
In all, as Artifacts become a standard part of the Claude overall experience, Artifacts represent a shift in focus from raw power to user experience in the AI development world.
