X Rebuilt Its Android App to Match the Performance of Its iOS Version in a Technical Refresh

X has completed a major rebuild of its Android app from the ground up, and things get interesting. 

Announced by X's hhad of product Nikita Bier, the effort spanned well over a year and involved a focused team of engineers who rewrote significant portions of the codebase. 

The result is an app that loads faster, scrolls more smoothly, and feels more reliable overall.

For years Android users have noticed differences when comparing the X experience on their devices to what iOS offered. 

The iOS version often appeared more polished with crisper animations, consistent haptic feedback, and a sense of refinement that came from tighter integration with Apple's ecosystem.
