Jealousy, the green-eyed monster, often arises from a perceived threat to something that is value deeply, whether it's a relationship, possession, or status.
It's normal to be jealous. The thing is, emotions aren't always rational. It's suggested that the cause of this is due to people's primal instincts for survival and reproduction.
Because of this, jealousy can seem irrational and as a result, the feeling can pose real danger.
Anastasia Grishman, also known as Anastasia Khamlovskaya, was a TikToker and tattoo artist whose videos had amassed millions of views on the platform. She was also an OnlyFans star.
The 26-year-old woman reportedly vanished.
She was later found dead with multiple stab wounds throughout her body.

The culprit was none other than the person who should have protected her.
The murderer was her husband.
24-year-old Dmitry Khamlovsky killed Anastacia by stabbing her in a bedroom in an apartment in St. Petersburg, Russia, at the end of July 2022.
He then dumped her in a bathtub.
But what made it even disturbing is that, her jealous husband allegedly impersonated her for a week, pretending he was her.
He did this after taking her phone and ran her social media profiles.
He pretended to be her deceased wife, by going as far as answering texts from her best friends for a week
Anastasia’s dead body was found on 10th August, when one of her friends alerted the police.
Following the discovery, a manhunt began for Anastacia’s husband, the man who had helped the TikToker and model her for her videos.
He was arrested and charged with the murder.

In this defense, Dmitry first told the police that his wife had mental problems and that she asked him to kill her.
But later, he confessed to the crime.
He told the police that he stabbed his wife, who was also known online as 'grshmn'. in the bedroom when she was lying with her back to him.
After stabbing her for so many times, he said that Anastacia died on his lap.
The Courts of St. Petersburg said in a statement that Dmitry Khamlovsky (Chernyshov) was found guilty of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
It's said that the case stemmed from a "background of previously occurring multiple family conflicts based on jealousy," where the husband "made at least 22 stabs with a knife in the head, neck, torso, and upper limbs of the victim."

"Her death occurred at the scene from multiple stab, cut and partially penetrating stab wounds.
The main cause of her death, was the six stab wounds at her neck.
Dmitry pleaded guilty.
In the end, the court imposed a sentence of imprisonment for a period of eight years in a high-security penal colony.
Dmitry reportedly has a criminal record including theft and evasion of military service.
