After over a year releasing Penguin 5, Google introduces Penguin 6 (aka. Penguin 3.0). Google confirms that this new version of its Penguin filter aimed at fighting spam even further.
The update is a major one, not just a "data refresh". The filters are targeting webspam, bad links, and spammy websites to rank them further down.
Google has suggested that with the latest version of Penguin, the company also would have a new system allowing for refreshes to happen more frequently.
