Johnny Depp is among Hollywood's A-listers.

While he is best known to have portrayed characters like Jack Sparrow, Ichabod Crane, the Mad Hatter, Tonto, Edward Scissorhands, Willy Wonka and Gellert Grindelwald, among others, Depp is also a multitalented individual.

Depp has shown passion and credibility that go beyond the screen, as he is also talented in music, business, as well as painting.

As for the latter, Depp has been creating portraits of friends, heroes and family, and animating them to create "truly unique works of generative art."

After that, he went to sell them as non-fungible tokens (NFTs) through the Ethereum blockchain, to some of his creative community fans and friends.

According to the neverfeartruth.com, the website Depp's team established:

"As a utility to all NFT owners, for the cost of production and delivery, we will process for you a high resolution print of your NFT from the original artwork, print it on Somerset 410gsm Satin paper using professional acrylic inks, and emboss it with your unique NFT # and Johnny Depp's official art certification. This print will be a unique work of art, like your NFT, and only available to the NFT owner."

The artworks were made by Johnny Depp himself, and were then retouched and animated.

Some of the people that were portrayed in Depp's work, include Depp himself, Marlon Brando, Elizabeth Taylor, Hunter S Thompson, Heath Ledger, and Tim Burton. Depp's daughter Lily-Rose Depp, his dog Mooh, and a fictional character Depp and his son called the Bunnyman is also created.

Each image is an intimate reflection of their character in Johnny's eyes; a portrayal of how they have revealed themselves to him.

"I always use art to express my feelings and look back on the people that are most important to me, such as family, friends, and people I admire. My paintings surround my life, [...] No one should limit themselves," the famous actor said.

Depp’s style is a combination of pop art and street art, in which he implemented them with the images of pop culture figures rendered in vibrant colors.

This collection is the first to showcase his paintings, which are said to reflect an individual’s personality, as Depp sees.

25% of the earnings from the sales would be donated to charitable organizations such as the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital, Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital, the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation, and the Hamet Shooting Trust created to commemorate Depp’s hero Hunter S. Thompson.

"It is an incredible gift to pay homage to my supporters and to have the opportunity to support a charity that is of great importance to my family. We hope we can create a new community of friends around these NFTs. My involvement in NFT spaces is just beginning,“ added Depp.

It's worth noting that there are 11,111 NFTs that Depp created, and 10,000 of them went for sale by Never Fear Truth.

The remaining 1,111 are owned by Depp, who is donating them to "fans who supported him the most” as well as his teams, and his favorite charities.

Owning a Johnny Deep's Never Fear Truth NFT shall grant the buyer access to Johnny's community on Discord.

There, buyers that are fans and friends can "come together and collaborate on creative projects."

"The community on Discord will offer an intimate environment for Johnny to express his creativity through; and provide you access to unique works, experiences and future projects in art, music and film," the website said.

Other benefits of owning Never Fear Truth NFT, also include the ability to access to future NFT works and partnerships by Depp, and the ability to claim a physical copy of the artwork
