With Facebook restricting its API platform for hundreds of thousands of apps, apparently, Twitter is also included.
Previously, Twitter users who have connected their Facebook account to their Twitter account, can post the same content to both services using Facebook Login.
With Facebook deprecated its 'Publish' action permissions from its API, users can no longer have their tweets automatically posted to Facebook.
According to Ime Archibong, Vice President of Product Partnerships at Facebook, all apps using the Facebook Platform APIs would need to go through a more comprehensive review to better protect people's Facebook information.
Since the Cambridge Analytica scandal, where as many as 87 million Facebook users had their data improperly harvested and shared, Facebook has been restricting access to its API platform to prevent future data misuse.
As for the Facebook Login restriction, it was first announced back in April.
The company said that apps that had been granted permission to publish posts to Facebook as the logged-in user would no longer have that permission.
"As a result, we are cutting off API access for hundreds of thousands of inactive apps that have not submitted for our app review process," said Archibong.
New apps wouldn’t be able use this feature the day the change was announced.
And in the case of older apps, the permission would be revoked on August 1, 2018.
We’ve learned that Tweets and Retweets will no longer automatically post to connected Facebook accounts due to a recent Facebook update.

Twitter confirmed this, and tweeted to respond the reports from users that weren't able to publish tweets to Facebook.
"We've learned that Tweets and Retweets will no longer automatically post to connected Facebook accounts due to a recent Facebook update," said Twitter Support. "Don't worry, you have other ways to share a Tweet," it continued.
The same issue also affects Periscope:
We've identified an issue that prevents users from sharing their broadcasts to Facebook. Since we're not able to resolve this on our end, we'll be removing the Facebook share option from the Periscope app (iOS and Android) in the near future. Apologies for the inconvenience.

"You have the option to share via Direct Message with your followers, or through an SMS or email to your contacts from your phone's address book," said Twitter Support page.
Another solution is by simply copy the URL of a tweet, and manual post that URL on Facebook.
Users also has the option to use the Facebook's Share dialogs for web, iOS and Android.
