Tonje from Harstad, Norway, has one unique fetish many others may find it distasteful .
The woman who claims to be 27 years old, said that she just love the smell of rubber from condoms. According to her, the smell is the best smell in the world.
Since she realized this fetish back in 2010, she began collecting used condoms.
Initially, she collected condoms her boyfriend used when having sexual intercourse with her. But there was the time when her boyfriend just couldn't handle Tonje's fetish anymore. They broke up, but Tonje didn't show any sign of stopping.
But since collecting condoms on her own was difficult, she began to source them from elsewhere.
"Some friends of mine had drunk some alcohol, so they ended up in my bedroom. That made me happy. I went in to my bedroom for a little while and asked if they used a condom. They did, so I said they could just put the condom on my nightstand, saying I could throw them away for them," she said.
"I get more and more condoms all the time. It is the best feeling in the world. I feel so happy when I go to the mailbox. People were sending used condoms to me. It’s like Christmas every day for me."
According to Tonje, sometimes, she can acquire 20 used condoms a day.
She even went so far as paying KR 500 (~$77) to buy a used condom from someone, and even said that she would pay an extra KR 100 ($15) if the person is willing to send a picture of themselves along the condom they used.
"I do not care what others think, some like cars and sports, I like to collect used condoms. Everyone have their own hobby," she said.
She said that her family is supportive, saying that some of her friends, and even her father, have sent her their used condoms.
"Otherwise, I have a lot of sex myself," she said.
Beyond that, she even share her email address on the web, so people who wish to donate/sell their used love gloves, can contact her.
When she began to admit to the world that she has the bizarre fetish, her collection has gone way beyond thousands of used condoms.
"One day I’m going to clear 10,000," said Tonje.
"That I look forward to."
Tonje curates her collection of prophylactics on a wall at the apartment she lives, where the used rubbers of many sizes are put dangling side-by-side with their owners photos who provided her with their selfies.
While she does have people who support her in doing what she love, many others despise her.
"When I go out on the street, I am known as Condom-Tonje, it’s not very nice. I am a perfectly normal human like everyone else," she said.
