Facebook’s founder Mark Zuckerberg has been trying to shift how the giant social platform company in creating and distributing new services that are innovative and attractive to its users. For that purpose, Facebook formed Creative Labs to develop more apps.
"What we're doing with Creative Labs is basically unbundling the big blue app," said Zuckerberg. According to the company, a one-size-fits-all approach is unwieldy for future app development.
The social media network begins to separate its core services into smaller more narrow and focused services. The apps created by Creative Labs are standalone and can be easily be adapted to mobile devices. Creative Labs that is managed and run by a small team, is a way for Facebook to explore new forms of social connection.
