Google I/O (the "I" and "O" stand for input/output, and "Innovation in the Open") is an annual conference held by Google for its developers. The event features technical, in-depth sessions focused on building web, mobile, and enterprise applications with Google and open web technologies.

In the 2016 event, Google held it at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View. While keynotes and various displays are shown outdoors, its main event was shown under dome-like tents.
