Humans can be scared of things they don't know. But still, being exposed to something scary can be a satisfying experience, simply because of that adrenaline rush, self-satisfaction, and others.
This is why humans create things that can scare even themselves. And the same goes to people on the internet, as they too, are humans who can enjoy being scared, or exposed to something that may scare them.
Among the many fictional entities that are created to scare people, is Siren Head.
The being that is over 10 meters tall, is a skinny and fleshy humanoid creature with arms that are as long as its legs. Its name comes from its head, which has two sirens where its head should be. It's through these sirens that Siren Head can play some music, some garbled sounds, radio broadcasts, pieces of conversations, various words and even white noise.
It's said that Siren Head lures its victims with voices of their loved ones.
The first depiction of Siren Head was at a graveyard, where a photograph of Siren Head is standing in the middle of the graves.
As what it's expected to be, Siren Head is said to be very hostile and dangerous.
Mainly residing in rural areas and in forests, Siren Head that has a skin dried like a mummy, hunts for lost travelers, hikers, and also little children.
When the creature is capturing its victims, it will unleash its brutal attacks, while playing its victims' screams through its sirens.
Siren Head was created by Canadian horror artist and illustrator Trevor Henderson as part of Creepypastas, which are horror-related legends that are created, and meant to be copied and pasted around the internet.
Siren Head gained its viral fame using methods like other Creepypastas: using internet entries that are often brief, user-generated, and paranormal activities written to scare readers.
But in Siren Head's case, its towering monstrosity has been particularly viral, as it appears on everywhere from viral TikTok videos, fan artwork, and even video games and game mods.
The creature is one of many monsters created by Henderson's found-footage style drawings.

It began way back when a YouTube horror channel known as Billy Styler created several videos on Siren Head, providing full details about the creature and giving Siren Head a lot of new attention.
In 2020, Siren Head has became mainstream in the YouTube gaming community, first popularized when Markplier made a video playing the Siren Head game. JackSepticEye and PewDiePie followed, giving Siren Head even more attention. A TikTok video was created about Siren Head which also gained attention.
With its massive popularity, the creature has also become subject of memes.
Most of the exposures gave Siren Head the popularity all over the web.
And because the depiction of the creature has been explored to varying degrees, many people were even confused as to whether Siren Head exists or not.
