Yahoo! Japan Auction which was the most popular online auction site in Japan, announced its top 10 items that brought in the most money for charity in 2007.
Topping the list, was the "World's First and Official Tsukasa Hojo 'Life-Size' 100-Ton Hammer."
The hammer which measures 1.8 meters long, was just Kaori Makimura wields against her partner Ryo Saeba in Tsukasa Hojo's Japanese City Hunter action comedy manga and anime.
Despite its similar appearance, the hammer in the auction was a 50 kilograms replica made from fiber-reinforced plastic coated with polystyrene replica. With attention to details, the hammer comes with its own special wooden box case.
The hammer which was personally signed by Hojo himself, earned ¥1,832,000 (about $17,150) for the charity.

Kaori's replica hammer topped all items in the auction, which included the ¥1,524,000 ($14,270) Fernandes TE-HT guitar from Tomoyasu Hotei, a Japanese musician, singer-songwriter, composer, record producer and actor.
Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill trailer and film made this particular guitarist internationally famous with the use of his "Battle Without Honor or Humanity" song.
The hammer also beat out signed uniforms from three top Japanese baseball players.
However, there was a 2.2 meter steel replica of the Spear of Longinus from the Evangelion anime franchise, also on the Yahoo! Japan Auctions. While its closing bird was ¥13,727,000 (about $121,100), the item was not verified, thus not included in the top 10 charity auctions.
