While lots of sex tapes exist, and that new ones are uploaded every single day, not everything can go viral.
The recipe for a viral sex tape, is the status and profile of the individual in the sex tape, and how the media and the individual perceive the sex tape after it is leaked.
Rini Juniawati from Indonesia, is a teacher, and regarded as an innovator by the locals where she lives.
When her sex tape was leaked, she was forced to withdraw from the life she lives, to change pretty much of it.
All that thanks to the internet, and the netizens who helped the virality of the sex tape.
The sex tape that is about 20 minutes long, seems to have been taken inside a parked car in broad daylight.
The woman who is wearing a hijab, clears her throat, and is seen giving the man fellatio, before mounting him.
After that, she sat to the side of the driver's seat, and the man began fondling her breasts, and fingered her, before she screamed that she's all wet.
The two took a break, in which the woman is seen reaching for a handful of tissue.
The two then engaged in coitus in various positions, before the two put back their clothes on, and the tape ended.
At first, it was thought that the woman is a civil servant.
From her uniform, it was suggested that she was working in Purwakarta, a district and town in West Java, which serves as the regency seat of the Purwakarta Regency.
The man Rini had sex with, is Raden Indra Apriyanto, who works as the Secretary General of the Pancasila Youth Organization for the Purwakarta Regency.
Indra is also a teacher who teaches automotive engineering.
After the police investigated, it was then concluded that Rini is a victim.
It's found that Rini didn't know she was recorded.
Rini testified that she and Indra were engaged in the sexual intercourse in a car, when it was parked at a minimarket.
But after that, it's also revealed that the sex was actually an extramarital sex.
Both Rini and Indra are allegedly married to someone else, and that the two were in the affair for about a year.
The police who placed Indra as the suspect in this case, made his testify that the reason Indra leaked the sex tape, was because Rini broke up with him.
Indra first shared the video to a Facebook group on purpose.
As a result of this, Indra has to face six years in prison at most, and/or Rp 2 billion.
And as for Rini, she was not allowed to teach anymore.
Later, according to a post by the Supreme Court of Indonesia, which is apparently made online for the public to see, the court granted the divorce between Rini and her husband.
Besides being an English teacher at a vocational school in Purwakarta, Rini Juniawati is also a businesswoman, the founder of the Keripik Kutang skin chips.
According to Hj. Karliati Djuanda, the head of Purwakarta's industry and trade service, Keripik Kutang wins third place as the most innovative product in the West Java province.
The skin chips is made from 'melinjo', a native in Southeast Asia. The fruit is oval, and is often used as an ingredient. But the skin, which is thin and velvety, is bitter, and it's usually disposed of.
But unfortunately because of the leaked sex tape, Purwakarta's industry and trade service said that they have to intervene, and suggest a rebrand to the brand.
According to Karliati, the purpose of this, is to save the business.
"Currently the public's response to melinjo skin chips is very good," said Karliati.
Because as long as the public like the food and that they'll be looking for it, Karliati said that it would be better to just rebrand the product, adding that the rebrand is to be remove any negativity its owner has inflicted to it, due to the leaked sex tape.
Rini's case wasn't the first time the internet did this to someone who had their sex tape virally leaked to the internet.
Previously, Lydia Shefty, a schoolgirl also disappeared following her photo leaks, and so did Chika, the exceptionally viral Vina from Garut, 'Ariel Peterporn', Rita Widyasari, and more.
Many of them were doxed, and as a result, the internet will always remember them, the way it will always remember Rini.
