Julia Liers, a top member of the Brazilian Military Police of Rio de Janeiro, helped brought one of the most notorious Brazilian gangs into custody.

She was among the 1,500 officers who worked at an operation that arrested 767 people in Curitiba, the capital of the state of Parana, as well as in 72 other cities in the country.

The gang members were from First Command of the Capital, or PCC, one of the country’s main organized crime groups.

Because Julia was among those who were credited for it, the gang members who were upset with the arrest of their leader, decided to retaliate.

According to reports, they did this by making Julia's personal photos public.

Many of her personal photos that have been shared online, include a number of her nudes.

Among others, the photos of the 17th Military Police Battalion member, include her posing as a dancer at the Rio Carnival, a visit to a sex museum in Holland, and more

However, how Julia's photos were disseminated online is not publicly publicized.

Some said that the gang members hacked her online account, or may have hired hackers to hack into her devices. Others suggested that someone may have turned them over to the criminals for whatever reasons.

Another source said that it was Julia herself who did this voluntarily.

The media said that her name is Julia Liers, while other reports said that she also goes with the name Julia Luna Pavon.
