At night, fast-moving sources of light brightened the dark sky. People down below, men and women, as well as children cherish.
They look happy, smiling, and cheerfully praising God. They light up fireworks, and sing.
For the first time in 76 years since its formation, Israel received its biggest attack, when Iran launched around 200 missiles including hypersonic rockets that targeted a number of critical infrastructures in Israel, including Tel Aviv.
These weaponry emits bright exhaust plume from the combustion of their fuel.
While most of them were shot down by Israel's highly-sophisticated defense systems, and some others blown up by allies, a lot of the remaining missiles and rockets managed to hit their targets, creating damage, fire and chaos.
This happened on October 1, 2024, when Iran launched a massive missile attack on Israel.
The moment that was captured by the many people in Israel, Palestine and Jordan, and uploaded to the internet, struct both hope and fear.
The country formerly known as Persia, employed a mix of medium- and long-range ballistic and cruise missiles in its unprecedented barrage attack, targeted military bases and facilities, power plants and critical infrastructure, as well as and civilian infrastructure across the country, including in Tel Aviv.
We launched 200 ballistic missiles of various types at three main airbases, including Nevatim, where the U.S. delivers bombs to the Zionist regime and which hosts F-35 fighter jets, and Hatzerim, which participated in the assassination of dear martyr Nasrallah.

The attack was a direct response to Israel's recent military operations that were targeting Iranian targets in Iran, Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq, targeting Iranian military bases and proxy forces.
It was also a response from the Iranian government, on behalf of the Hezbollah in Lebanon, the pager attack, and Hamas in Gaza.

The exact extent of the damage is not known, since Israel has been keen in keeping information from leaking, but what's certain, the attack from Iran has caused significant disruption to Israeli life and infrastructure.
From photos and videos that were uploaded to social media, suggest that damage include the destructions of properties, as well as injuries, and fatalities.
In a post on X, the Israeli's official account said that what happened "isn't normal."
"Every single one of these rockets is meant to kill."

The immediate result of the attack was a significant escalation of tensions between Iran and Israel.
And this was received with various responses.
Palestinian factions in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, for example, expressed solidarity with Iran and condemned the Israeli response.
Some Palestinian groups even threatened to escalate their own attacks against Israel. As for Lebanon, its government condemned the attack and called for de-escalation, but its Hezbollah, which is a militant group backed by Iran, expressed support for Iran's actions and warned of potential retaliation against Israel.

On the opposite side of the ring, the U.S., which is Israel's main supporter, strongly condemned Iran's attack and reaffirmed its support for Israel.
In response, the U.S. government imposed additional sanctions on Iran and called for international pressure to deter its aggressive behavior.
The attack also drew condemnation from the international community, with many countries calling for de-escalation.
Other countries have expressed mixed reactions to the attack. Some have condemned Iran's actions, while others have called for de-escalation and a diplomatic solution.
The international community largely condemned Iran's attack and called for a peaceful resolution to the conflict. Many countries expressed concern about the potential for further escalation and the destabilizing impact on the region.
