Many of those people social media users began to recreate the classic Pamela hairdo that sports the signature messy curls.

Among the many videos uploaded to the platform, include full tutorials for recreating the hairdo.
Most boil down to messing the hair to create curls, and then pulling the hair to create a pony tail. Then, the hair is looped to create a bun, and to keep it in place, a pin is added. Repeat the steps to keep the ends out.
After that, the bun is pulled apart to make it more fluffy and messy.
Finish the look by adding some volume with a hot roller, curling iron, or a hairdryer.
The result is a hairstyle that is simply messy, with an effortless looking bun with curled, loose pieces of hair at the front.
It didn't take long until the hashtag #pamelaandersonhair became viral and gained millions of views on the platform.
And not just some usual TikTok users, because even Kim Kardashian who was also inspired by Pamela, recreated the messy hairdo.
Kim showed off her looks on an appearance at the Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Kim arrived to the show sporting the looks made by her hairstylist, Chris Appleton, complete with a black body-hugging "liquid dress" that is also similar to what Pamela once wore.
