And this time, a man from Scotland has to face the harsh consequences for facilitating sex acts on minors.
Gary Campbell is claimed to have paid abusers in the Philippines to carry out sex acts in livestreams, as he watched and recorded everything from his home.
Campbell directed the sex attacks and also the rapes of young girls in the Philippines from his home in the Highlands, with victims in the footage could have been as young as 4-years-old, reports said.
According to the High Court in Edinburgh, the 59-year-old facilitated female children to become providers of sexual services to adults between June 2012 and August 2014, while living at Culag Gardens, Lochinver, in Sutherland.
To watch the children molested on camera, and have those sex acts livestreamed to his home, Campbell paid between £10.12 and £30.33, per video.
The authorities have carried out a raid to his home, with forensic computer analysts said that they've found a number of evidence.
"A number of devices were seized from the living room, bedroom and hallway, which on later examination were found to contain child sexual abuse material," advocate Margaret Barron told the court.
Among the evidence, include videos that Campbell recorded during his Skype video calls with the people in the Philippines.
Many of the videos have Campbell’s face clearly visible on a small window, since the videos were livestreamed to him.
And since the videos were livestreamed, Campbell could also be seen and heard typing messages, as he directed the videos.
The advocate said that Campbell carried his crime using the Skype account with the name "gary24pucket."
Upon further investigation on the account, "Gary Campbell" name as his full name was also found. The investigation also recovered records of payments Campbell made to the assailants in the Philippines.
"In videos and chat logs, the accused provides directions to those acting in the Philippines to assault the children named in the charges in the manner described," said the advocate.
Margaret Barron told the court:
"Information was received that the accused, Gary Campbell, made payments to this woman on 13 separate occasions."
The advocate added that Campbell has admitted to most of the offends, and also admitted to have committed in the acts.
Campbell, a first-time offender, according to the court, is said to have worked as a water treatment operative, and was a retained firefighter.
The judge, Lord Beckett, said that Campbell, who has been on bail, to have his background thoroughly checked ahead of his sentencing, and that he is to be immediately placed on the sex offenders' register list.
"The court takes a very serious view of what are very serious crimes," the judge said.
