Yahoo! Directory is one of the core part that made Yahoo! started its business in 1994. On December 27th, Yahoo! officially closes the feature, five days ahead of schedule. The Directory address is directed to a new location carrying a "Yahoo Small Business" logo that has a general look and feel of the old Yahoo! Directory.
In September, Yahoo! announced that the closure would happen. The Directory was what helped the company became the Google of the 1990s.
