If Artificial Intelligence (AI) knows how to give humans the creeps, it's called Pix2Pix.
The Dutch Public Broadcaster NPO it created its own system that learned from thousands of images as one of its anchors. Using AI, the system attempts to turn simple drawings of a face, or anything else for that matter.
But the thing is, while it makes attempts to guess where the eyes, ear, mouth, hair, and so on should go, they don't always exactly go where they should go. And when it then tries to match attempts to Rense, making some watercolor-esque paintings.
The re-creation result are indeed horrifying. Like something that only exists in nightmares.

It is said that Pix2Pix takes examples from edge2cats, which turned any line drawing into a cat.. It uses an AI created by Google's open-source machine learning project TensorFlow.
Pix2Pix happens to be popular in making horrifying auto-generated images out of simple line drawings.
