Weather can be unpredictable. When you've decided to go outside and get some sun, the next hour the sky has other plans for you by introducing some clouds and even sudden rains. This happens frequently, especially to those living near the equator.
To help users jump start their day or plan a getaway, on February 9th, 2017, Bing has rolled out two new updates to its weather-related queries, adding new looks and information about forecast in several cities.
The first is the update to the weather experience on the platform. Searching for weathers in specific cities will bring a real-time forecast with an interactive slider that shows weather conditions for certain times of the day. To please the visuals, the search engine from Microsoft sets the background image to show the city's landscape.
According to Bing on its blog post:
For weather-related searches for smaller cities or those that aren't yet included, Bing will show a color-based gradient background to indicate the weather condition and climate.

Bing understands natural language for users that seek weather information. So for example, users can ask Bing "will it rain tomorrow" or "how is the weather this Friday?" After that query, users can ask follow-up questions like "how about tomorrow?"
The second update is particularly useful for those that are looking for skiing activities. Bing has added a new feature to serve information about snow conditions and forecasts to U.S.-bases ski resorts.
