Apple II

Following the Apple I, Apple released its second computer called the Apple II.

The 8-bit home computer was one of the first highly successful mass-produced microcomputer products. Designed primarily by Steve Wozniak, it was sold at $1,298 (with 4 kB of RAM) and $2,638 (with 48 kB of RAM).

To reflect the computer's capability to show colored graphics, Apple for the first time put a rainbow stripe on its logo on the casing. The original Apple II was the first of Apple II series.
