Celebrities Fighting Kanye West’s Anti-Semitism: Viral For A Good Reason, By Being Not Good

Kanye West, or legally known as just "Ye," doesn't care.

Even when he had his partner, Bianca Censori, with clothes that are barely there during the 2025 Grammys, all he wants is being famous. His name is everywhere, and so does Bianca. In fact, the rapper boasted that Bianca is the "most-Googled person" following her naked appearance.

If that spotlight isn't enough, Kanye took his rhetoric to new heights when he lashed out against Jews in a hateful series of tweets (before deleting his account). Then later, in an advertisement, he directed Super Bowl viewers to his website (now down) where the only item he was selling was a $20 T-shirt featuring a Nazi's swastika.

In response to this, someone created a video, which has since went viral on social media, depicting Scarlett Johansson and others wearing a white T-shirt featuring a hand and its middle finger extended.

In the video, the Black Widow star is joined by over a dozen of other Jewish celebrities, including Drake, Jerry Seinfeld, Steven Spielberg, Mark Zuckerberg, Jack Black, Mila Kunis and Lenny Kravitz.

On the T-shirt they are seen wearing, is the Star of David, a symbol generally recognized as representation of both Jewish identity and Judaism.

And underneath that hand, the name "Kanye" is written.

The video ends with Adam Sandler flipping his finger at the camera as the Jewish folk song "Hava Nagila" plays.

The idea of this video, is to oppose Kanye's anti-Semitic rant.

For some, this may seem like a positive development, given Kanye’s history of spreading anti-Semitic hate in the entertainment industry.

However, there’s a catch—the video is completely fake.

The 59-second clip is entirely AI-generated.

In response to this viral AI-generated video, Scarlett Johansson has again issued a statement speaking out against AI and its deepfake underling.

The Hollywood superstar denounced what she called "the misuse of AI, no matter what its messaging."

"It has been brought to my attention by family members and friends, that an AI-generated video featuring my likeness, in response to an anti-Semitic view, has been circulating online and gaining traction. I am a Jewish woman who has no tolerance for Anti-Semitism or hate speech of any kind."

"But I also firmly believe that the potential for hate speech multiplied by AI is a far greater threat than any one person who takes accountability for it."

"We must call out the misuse of AI, no matter its messaging, or we risk losing a hold on reality."

Previously, Scarlett has been a victim of AI, and has expressed her anger towards OpenAI for using her voice as one of the voices of ChatGPT.

"I have unfortunately been a very public victim of AI," she said, "but the truth is that the threat of AI affects each and every one of us."

"There is a 1000-foot wave coming regarding A.I. that several progressive countries, not including the United States, have responded to in a responsible manner. It is terrifying that the U.S. government is paralyzed when it comes to passing legislation that protects all of its citizens against the imminent dangers of AI."

Scarlett has been vocal about the risks of AI when ironically, she starred in Her, where she portrayed an AI using her voice.

Kanye West, anti-Semitic tweet.
The first notable anti-Semitic post from Kanye West than landed him in a ban on various social media.

Anti-Jewish hatred can be dated back to thousands of years.

There have been a lot of negative stereotypes regarding Jews like for example, Christian anti-Semitism has roots in religious disputes, economic tensions, and social conflicts. And in Islam, the Jews are considered "People of the Book," but have also been the objects of ridicule and heavy criticisms for rejecting prophets, altering scripture, or breaking covenants.

And here, Kanye's anti-Semitic rant comes during a politically sensitive time.

Many Jews across the U.S. have been at an unease since the war between the Palestinian Hamas and Israel took place following the former's attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.

And regarding Kanye, since October 2022, the time he first made headlines for his Anti-Semitic tweet, there have been at least 30 reported anti-Semitic incidents that directly referenced him.

What's worth noting, Nazi-related statements on social media aren't just coming from Kanye.

Others, like Elon Musk, the billionaire who owns the platform X, have posted a series of Nazi puns.
