Sexual relations refers to any type of sexual activity between two people.
Explicit and enthusiastic consent from all parties is absolutely crucial for any sexual activity. Engaging in sexual activity without this constitutes sexual assault or rape. But when it involves a minor, it's always considered a sexual assault, even when the minor consents.
This is because the consent of a minor is not considered valid in sexual activity, due to their developmental immaturity, vulnerability, long-term harm, the laws that protect them.
What this means, even if a minor seems to agree to sexual activity, it does not mean they truly understand the implications or can give genuine, informed consent.
This time, a 13-year-old student allegedly had sexual relations with his former teacher, and had a child with her.

After the teen, born in 2005, graduated, he and his family remained close with Laura.

It's realized that the teen has been abused from the age of 11 through to 15, during the time he was residing with Laura at her home in South Jersey.
The victim's sister reported witnessing that during the sleepovers, she remembered going to sleep with her brother in the same room, but when she woke up, she found him sleeping in Caron’s bedroom.
At the time, her brother was 11 years old.
The teen's sibling also confessed that she once saw her brother sexually assaulted by Laura during his sleep.
She also reportedly received a text from her brother, who said that he was abused by Laura, mentioning that he fathered a child.
And after the case came to light, the victim himself disclosed a prolonged sexual relationship with his former teacher.
