Internet fame is hard to get for most people, but is easy to obtain for those who dare to go beyond the boundaries.

Franky Venegas and Alex Venegas are twins from the U.S..

Born on July 16th, 2001, they began their career as rappers. And it was on October 2021, that a video of them singing their song "I'm an Island Boy" went viral.

The video, and the song, received poor reception. But the video introduced the world to the twins' unique appearance, which boasts tattoos, diamond teeth, and vertical dreadlocks.

These helped turn their video into memes.

From Twitter to YouTube, TikTok and beyond, the twins, now calling themselves the 'Island Boys', become social media personalities, and even carved out a niche for themselves.

Franky and Alex Venegas quickly went viral as "Kodiyakredd" and "Flyysoulja," respectively.

The Island Boys who have Cuban ancestry, said that their father died when they were still young, and were raised by a single mother, who then kicked them out at the age of 18 due to their poor behavior.

In a podcast, one of the boys explained that they were often in trouble with the law, and had committed crimes including robbery and burglary, grand theft auto, and possessing narcotics.

Throughout their career, the boys have made numerous controversies, and were also received with some confusion.

For example, in 2022, one of the boys, Franky Venegas, was accused of domestic abuse, and was then accused of battery. Then in early 2023, Franky Venegas was arrested for domestic battery.

The Island Boys have been involved in multiple online feuds with other social media personalities, including mainstream celebrities.

From rapper Blueface, brothers Logan Paul and Jake Paul, to comedian Kevin Hart and rapper Snoop Dogg.

They also made controversy when they made a commissioned video, which caught the attention of the U.S. Army Recruiting Command.

With millions of followers across all of their social media accounts, the twins have been incredibly close throughout their rise to internet stardom, that to the a point where some viewers were finding it kind of off.

And their speculations came to realization, when the twins did something they never should.

The twins outraged social media after they tweeted a photo of themselves nearly kissing, and made another tweet where they really did kissed.

They also said that they have created an OnlyFans account together, where they uploaded photos and videos of themselves doing more explicit things.

Many netizens were disgusted, because any form of sexual act between the two, is incest.

Island Boy member Flyysouljah denied these claims.

"We’re both straight males and kissing is not counted as a sexual act."

However, weeks later, Flyysouljah came out as gay. He clarified his sexual orientation through a TikTok stream.

"I’m a top, I’m never a bottom," he said in a viral clip from the broadcast. "I’m never a bottom. I’m a top. You know what I’m saying? I’m like that. For real."

"You guys support me, because you feel me," he continued. "I like men. It is what it is. I’m a top. I’m a top at the end of the day. That’s what’s going on."
