OnlyFans Model And Former Porn Star Broke Her Back During Twitch's Gaming Convention

Adriana Chechik, whose real name is Dezarae Kristina Charles, is best known as a former adult performer who has received numerous AVN Awards during her years in the porn industry.

After leaving her darker past behind, Adriana becomes a model on OnlyFans, and also a streamer on Twitch, shere she managed to gain lots of fans.

During TwitchCon, which is known to allow community members to meet Twitch streamers, discover new products, and trial new games, a huge foam pit was present. And at the time, Adriana seemed to miscalculate the depth of the pit, and her body part to cushion the impact.

As a result, she broke her spinal column in two different places.

And if that wasn't bad enough for the former porn star, she was also pregnant.

TwitchCon is a semi-annual gaming convention for the livestreaming video platform Twitch, which serves as a way for streamers and content creators to improve their stream quality and grow their brand.

And Adriana Chechik, known as one of the popular streamers of the platform, was present at the time.

In a shared video, Adriana is seen jumping off from an elevated platform into a foam pit.

She took a stance in front of groups of audience, jumped by splitting her legs.

It seems that she didn't know the depth of the pit, and because of that, the impact was tremendous.

The injury was bad because she landed on her tailbone first.

After falling, she was still smiling.

But when she attempted to stand up, she was unable to lift her body up, nor able to pull herself out of the pit.

"I can’t get out,” she said to those around her.

It should also be noted that Adriana wasn't the only person injured. It's reported that a number of people also experienced injuries.

Adriana however, sustained the worst.

Users on Twitter have further come out to share their own injuries as a result of leaping from the elevated surface into seemingly shallow pit.

Initially, nobody there, including Adriana herself knew the extent of the injury, until a random off work emergency medical technician took a look at it.

"Well, I broke my back in two places and am getting surgery to put a meter rod in for support today. Send your support. When it rains it pours and I am definitely feeling the rain right now."

Adriana praised the person for making the workers at the booth keep her still and calm.

After Adriana was brought to the hospital, it is later realized that the streamer and adult performer was also pregnant.

She was forced to terminate the pregnancy to undergo her first emergency spinal surgery.

"I was pregnant, and I didn't know until I was in the hospital," she said during her stream.

"So I also have, like, crazy hormones. I'm not pregnant anymore because of the surgery. I couldn't keep it. But my hormones are also through the [expletive] roof because of that."

She said that the surgery "went well," and it lasted 5 hours and 30 minutes. She described that her vertebrae were crushed, and she experienced nerve damage to her bladder. She also said that she had "bleeding around the bone but overall doing good!"

Ever since the accident, Adriana updated followers throughout her recovery.

One of which, is a video she shared while taking her first steps after the surgery.

Adriana did not mention taking action against Twitch or Lenovo in her comeback stream. She only asked her fans to respect her privacy and allow her to recover.

"Guys, please respect my healing at this time any talk of what I should do to these companies or who I need to be mad at is not apart of how I want to heal currently pls if you must talk don't tag me. I am human and I do see this and I am currently pushing hard to heal!" she tweeted.

Then, on October 15th, she went in for a second surgery.

After recovering from the surgery, she was released from the hospital the following day.

In a follow-up tweet, she also said that she is taking medication for anxiety.

"Social media is something I don't want to eliminate but if u can't stop being angry and tagging I'll lose this to!" she continued. "Please I'm human!"

In one of her others posts, she also publicly shared the surgery scar on her back, crediting the healing to "great surgeons" and "green juice with vitamins."

Adriana Chechik quit being a porn actress about a month before the incident.

She said that she is quitting porn once and for all, and said that Twitch is where she belongs.

"I will say Twitch has been the best blessing for me because I, for the first time in my life, was on a platform… I was just somewhere where people were valuing me for me," she said before adding that she hopes within a "year and a half," she won't have to have sexual intercourse on camera anymore.

"I just have to get everyone to see me as something more first."

In 2022, Adriana is 30 years old, and has spent most of her life in the adult entertainment industry.

For this reason, she felt that she didn't have any "notion of the outside world."

"I was craving intellectuality and learning, and I just wasn't getting it… I didn't have any notion of the outside world," she explained.

And once she began streaming on Twitch, she experienced something she rarely felt before, which is having fresh conversations with people outside of porn industry. According to her, this helped her see and value things she once overlooked.

"The experiences and conversations on there have made me realize, 'you're more than just how you've fetishized yourself,' because I fetishized myself; it also gave me the understanding that I am more than this," she said.

And speaking about her past Adriana said that she became a porn star because she felt "empowered."

"I feel empowered; it's really hot to control a bunch of men. I'm in a situation where not only I'm empowered because everyone is worshipping me, but you have a whole room of people collectively, including the director who want you to have a good time," she said.

It's worth noting though, that Adriana's venture to Twitch was not that easy.

While she quickly amassed a massive following, the former adult star was banned by Twitch for multiple times. She was also banned from participating in the Twitch Rivals Fortnite due to a "miscommunication" between Epic Games and Twitch based on her former pornographic background.

Fortunately for her, the ban was temporary.
